Day by day:

Day 1: Welcome to Northern Slovakia
Arrival in Spišská Sobota, a charming little town with a unique Gothic church at the foothills of the High Tatra Mountains.

Day 2: Panorama of the High Tatras
Ride with the Tatra electric railway, visit of the Tatra national park museum. Walking tour to the waterfalls of the Cold creek.

Day 3: Quaint little town of Kežmarok
Walking tour to the picturesque town of Kežmarok with an exceptional wooden church (UNESCO), the largest historical school library in central Europe (150.000 books) and a steady medieval castle.
Walking distance 14 km

Day 4: On the way to the healing springs
Walking tour from the free royal town of Podolínec to the spa resort Ružbachy. Possibility for swimming in the thermal water and for a visit in a sculpture park. The second part of the tour leads to Lacková, a small village, known for the traditional craft of basketry

Day 5: Rafting tour on the river Dunajec
Sightseeing tour of the former Carthusian monastery, rafting on traditional wooden rafts. Comfortable walking tour through the national park Pieniny and visit of the open-air museum in Stará Ľubovňa.

Day 6: Levoča mountains, St.Mary´s Hill and town of Levoča (UNESCO)
Walking through the remote areas of Levoča mountains to St. Mary´s Hill – the most important pilgrimage site in Slovakia. Followed by the visit of the UNESCO town Levoča, with the extraordinary church of St. James – a must see: the highest Gothic altar in the world

Day 7: UNESCO walking route – Spiš Jeruzalem and Spiš castle (UNESCO)
From the gothic church in Žehra (UNESCO), via the travertine plateau Dreveník to the biggest castle in Slovakia – the Spiš castle. From here on we follow the pilgrims on their way through the Spiš Jerusalem.
